Who we were

Dawn Circle was originally formed as a skills based Runescape clan. The clan lived for many years and had many amazing people in it. However a period of inactivity struck the clan and it was never able to recover fully and over many years it slowly died off.

Who we are now
During the time that the clan was dying it was discussed to open up the clan to other games instead of being a pure Runescape clan. However this never happened and the forums went down. After a few months of Dawn Circle being non-existant I (Scratcheee) decided to re-open it not as a clan, but a community to discuss, and meet other people interested in gaming!

Yay! DC is back! Hopefully we can get a good amount of members in here and stuff can start up

Hello. I was surprised to see DC back up.

I use to be a runescapian, but the way Jagex was flipping their "solid" stance on topics and the continued used of exp weekends. I just stopped. I play Lego Universe as my MMORPG, but I have many other games I play right now.

Now we're talking! I thought dc was gone for good. I'm glad scratchy went to all the trouble to bring the forum back for the handful of members who are still floating around out there. It wouldn't even have occurred to me.

Well just last night Masa was telling me he got back into rs and joined another clan. He was trying to get me to follow him in, only he didn't know I'm not playing anymore. But that's what got me thinking I would check for this place one more time, and it looks like his timing was right on the money.

well it seems the clan here is pretty well dead, i dont think we will see matt or leni anytime soon, and jon has no interest in dc anymore, along with a lot of our older members. (i have no idea whats going on with path) but at least some people are popping up, and hopefully we can get some more new people here, so dc won't disappear forever

Seems to me like maybe we need a new plan. I mean, increasing our ranks was pretty straightforward (in theory) when we were an rs clan. We just had to advertise on all the rs forums. Now we're a generic gaming community. Whole new ballgame.

What happened, anyway? From the outside it looked to me like the whole thing just kind of vanished.

By the way, I like the sig. Is that new?

yeah, its gonna be a bit more difficult getting people over here, i posted a thread on a different forum i hang out in, so hopefully some people from there filter over here (like sariou did) other then that unless we can figure out other things then the main thing would probably be word of mouth advertisement

as for the forums it seems that our domain name wasn't paid for so we lost that, so when i set this forum up the domain name wasn't taken so i was able to put down a bit of money to get it back for the year.

and yeah, i just made it a couple hours ago lol
